Dear Fellow Brahman Breeders
Our Open

will be able to inspect the animals we will be selling at the 4th
Bizzy Invitational Bull and Stud
Female
Prior to
that, on 29 July 2012, we will be offering 3 grey and 2 red
bulls, commencing at Lot 67, at the Casino All Breeds Bull and
Female Sale. We look
forward to seeing you there.
We had
continued success this year on the NSW Show Circuit, with Mogul
Zurf being the outstanding Brahman bull,
winning an unprecedented five awards, as Interbreed Champion Bull. Our grey senior heifer, Mogul
Miss Indy Manso 38th, and our red junior heifer, Mogul
Miss D Nita, were also particularly successful.
Mogul
Zurf, sired by El Ja
Data Axcess Manso, will be
offered for sale at this year’s Rockhampton
Brahman Week Sale in October.
Following the success of the progeny of
El Ja Budwiser Manso
at the 2011 RBWS, this year we will offer a further four progeny, including our
prize-winning poll bull Mogul Zelan, and Mogul
Zinc who has been tested 90% homozygous poll.
El Ja Budwiser Manso
was third ABBA 2011 Sire of the Year.
Semen is available for sale.
We are
also pleased to announce the addition of the red bull Samari
Plains Walton to our sires. Semen is
also available from this poll, heavy muscled bull.
Congratulations to our clients,
Steve Sivewright, Peter Brooks and Col Tink, on their on their successes with Mogul genetics at
the 2012 Sydney Royal Easter Show.
Mogul won the most successful
Brahman exhibitor award at the 2012 Sydney Royal Easter Show. We were also delighted to win the Kyabra Trophy for the 21st time.
Mogul also performed competitively
in the commercial sector. We consigned 25
milk and two tooth purebred Brahman steers and they graded 100% MSA compliant
with 22 in the boning groups of 11 or better.
George and Glen were each
recognized by the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW for their outstanding
contributions over many years and received 2012 Excellence in Agriculture
awards from the NSW Governor, Professor Marie Bashir
AC CVO.
